What is Mesothelioma?

What is Mesothelioma?

Mesothelioma is a rare form of lung cancer caused by exposure to asbestos.

Although asbestos has been banned for years, there are still many buildings and structures that have asbestos in them. In addition there are many people that were exposed to asbestos years ago before it was known how harmful it is.

The asbestos can be sucked into your lungs when you breathe in. If you are expecting to be exposed to asbestos due to a construction or other job, make sure you properly protect yourself with masks and fully body clothing.

If you have Mesothelioma and you believe it was caused by an exposure of asbestos, you may have a right to compensation. Contact an attorney or lawyer who specializes in Mesothelioma patients.
